Fronted by Diyet, a singer-songwriter of Southern Tutchone, Tlingit, Japanese, and Scottish heritage, the band’s music is deeply rooted in her Indigenous worldview and northern life. Diyet, who grew up on the ancestral lands of the Kluane First Nation, sings in both English and Southern Tutchone, weaving stories of resilience, tradition, and connection to the land. Backed by her husband Robert van Lieshout (guitar, percussion) and Juno Award-winning producer Bob Hamilton (mandolin, pedal steel), the trio’s performances are both powerful and intimate.
