Hailing from the rural city of Camrose, Alberta, Jessie Bird is a heartfelt artist blending country and folk influences to create deeply genuine and emotional performances. A storyteller at heart, her music resonates with authenticity and charm.

Jessie has graced notable stages, including the Edmonton Folk Fest in 2024, where she performed as part of the School of Song, providing backup vocals for featured artists. A former contestant on Canadian Idol Season 4, she earned a Top 100 spot in Toronto, showcasing her talent on a national platform. Locally, she’s a familiar name at Camrose’s historic Bailey Theatre, where her performances have captivated audiences time and again.

Jessie has opened for acclaimed acts like Keith and Renee, the Dirt Road Angels, and The Hearts while also sharing the stage with celebrated artists such as Ken Stead, Justin Sutton, Kaiya Kodie, Lily Monoghan, John Hewitt, and Von Bieker.

Compared to artists such as Joni Mitchell and Emmylou Harris, Jessie Bird’s powerful vocals and profound vulnerability set her apart. Her music embodies a delicate balance of strength and openness, leaving listeners deeply moved.

Currently, Jessie is channeling her passion into the studio as she works on her highly anticipated debut EP, set for release in Spring of 2025. With a love for her roots and a deep commitment to community, Jessie Bird focuses on connecting with her audience, creating shared experiences through her heartfelt music.
