Show Times

Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7:30pm. Opening acts are about 20 minutes. Main act starts at around 8pm, and plays two sets. There are usually two intermissions, one after the opening act, and one in between the two sets of the main act. Shows wrap up around 10/10:30pm.

Seating

All seating is by general admission. The room is set up in cabaret style, with chairs around tables, as well as some theatre style seating - in rows - along the sides of the room. Sight lines and sound are good throughout the room, and we recommend you come early if you like to sit close to the stage.

 

Accessibility

The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. There are a few steps, which can be negotiated with a wheelchair lift.

Food and Drink

St Basil's Cultural Centre offers food service at every show. Starting at 6:30pm, several tasty meals are available including traditional Ukrainian perogies and cabbage rolls. The bar serves beer, wine, cider, pop, and juice. Both food and bar are cash only. 

 

In our on-going efforts to become more environmentally friendly, we are encouraging patrons to bring refillable water bottles and mugs for water and beer. By doing this, we will reduce the number of red cups that go to the landfill.

 

Payment

For those buying passes or tickets at the door, we accept cash, debit, or credit card payment. Food and bar are cash only.

 

Transit

The venue is within walking distance of bus routes 9 & 51 along 109 street.

 

Free Parking

The venue has a large parking lot, and there is street parking available in the area. Parking can become a bit more difficult at popular shows, however; there are usually available spots within two blocks.

 

Children

We are an all ages venue. Young listeners are more than welcome at the New Moon Folk Club. Those under 12 have free entry.
